近年、企業活動において「ビジネスと人権」が重要なテーマとなり、企業の人権尊重を促す様々な政策が各国でも講じられています。このような中、日本政府は、2022年9月に「責任あるサプライチェーン等における人権尊重のためのガイドライン」を策定。さらに、企業の理解の深化を助け、その取組を促進することを目的に、経済産業省は2023年4月に「責任あるサプライチェーン等における人権尊重のための実務参照資料」を公表しました。この度、経済産業省は、企業における人権尊重取組をさらに後押しするため、「責任あるサプライチェーン等における人権尊重のための取組支援セミナー」を東京・名古屋・大阪で開催します。本セミナーでは、ガイドライン及び実務参照資料に基づき、政府、有識者による人権尊重の取組の解説を行うとともに、企業の取組事例の紹介やパネルディスカッションを通して「ビジネスと人権」への理解を深め、企業における人権尊重取組を支援することを目的としています。
