「生産動態統計」によると、2022年9月の印刷業の生産金額は前年同月比3.1%増の300億円でした。前年同月比増は2か月連続。コロナ禍前の2019年9月比では19億円低い水準。品種別では、商業印刷が前年同月比1.2％増、出版印刷は3.2％増加しました。包装印刷は8.8％増加。証券印刷は1.0％減少しました。事務用印刷はほぼ変わらない水準でした。「生産金額」とは、印刷部門のみ（製版費、製本・加工費を含まない）の金額で、紙等の材料費を除き、消費税を含めたもの。従業員100名以上の事業所を対象とした値です。
